I recently had the pleasure of volunteering as a DJ for the CENTRAL ITM Big Swim, a community event aimed at raising funds for the Carterton Indoor Project. This initiative seeks to upgrade the local pool facilities, with a fundraising goal of $1.7 million. The event took place at an outdoor pool, with participants swimming laps throughout the day, all for a great cause.
To keep the energy high and the atmosphere lively, I provided a playlist packed with dance music classics and anthems, creating a fun and engaging backdrop for swimmers and supporters alike. The combination of music, sunshine, and community spirit made it a fantastic summer event in the heart of the Wairarapa. As a local DJ, it was incredibly rewarding to be part of an event that brought so many people together, all united for a good cause.
