On Friday, 13th December, the Carterton Outdoor Pool transformed into the ultimate party destination to mark the last day of the school term in the district. Rangatahi from across the town and beyond gathered for an unforgettable pool party that blended energetic music, great vibes, and plenty of fun under the summer sun.
As the DJ for the event, we wanted to ensure that the atmosphere was electric; we tailored a playlist to suit the younger crowd. The modern hits dominated, but some classic tunes made waves too. Tracks like “We Will Rock You” and “Ice Ice Baby” had the young dancers rocking out on the poolside and proved to be unexpected favorites. The crowd’s energy was contagious, making this private party an absolute highlight of the season.
