A Little About Me

Originally from the North of England, a region renowned for its influential music movements like Northern Soul, Britpop, and the iconic Blackburn rave scene, I’ve been fortunate to immerse myself in vibrant music cultures around the world.

My DJ career kicked off in Lancaster during my university years, evolving from campus parties to the city’s bustling club scene. It was here that my love for electronica grew, expanding to include rock anthems, punk, and soul.

I’ve had the pleasure of living and DJing in some of the UK’s most exciting music hubs, including Manchester and Brighton. In Brighton, I fully embraced the local big-beat sound, which played a significant role in shaping my eclectic style.

After spending a brief but influential time in Manaus, deep in the Amazon, where the nightclubs pulsed with infectious drum rhythms and lively dance music, I returned to the UK and focused on DJing weddings and celebrations at hotel venues in the scenic Lake District.

I then took a break from DJing, making the move to Wairarapa, New Zealand to settle down and start a family. Now, with renewed energy, I’ve reconnected with the decks, blending traditional “wheels of steel” techniques with cutting-edge DJing technology.

Inspired by legends like Norman Cook, 2ManyDJs, and Utah Saints, my sets range from 90s house music to funky disco grooves, all seasoned with the unique rhythms I discovered in the Amazon whilst also dropping some classic rock anthems! Whether it’s a local wedding, community event, or private party, I aim to create the perfect vibe for every occasion.

Though my taste is broad, my “happy place” is spinning 90s house and disco beats that keep the crowd moving. With a career spanning continents and countless events, my goal is always to create unforgettable moments on the dance floor.
