Sonic [Mis]Adventures

50Hertz takes the d-floor on a wild ride through an eclectic blend of beats, basslines, soul vocals and unexpected musical twists. Known for his quirky, “genre-definant” sets and uplifting energy, 50Hertz is a sonic explorer who thrives on keeping crowds guessing and dancing, swerving off the tracks of common sense, often making it up on the fly to follow the crowd’s vibe.

“I wonder if Primal Scream could work with a trance melody?”
“What would Donna Summer sound like as a man?”
“Could a gay disco rhythm shoehorn with Welcome to the Jungle“?
“Du Haast and Shakira are really quite compatible”
“Could I drop a house piano-solo into a Sammi Virji speed-garage track?“

There’s only one way to find out…

New Phone, Who Dis?

Cutting his teeth in clubs across 1990s / 2000s UK, fueled by influences partying in Amazonian nightclubs, dancing the “Forró” whilst channelling the pulsating heart of 90s Northern rave culture, 50Hertz is a master of the unexpected. His signature style mashes up house grooves, big industrial beats, funky disco cuts, tech rollers, and the odd guilty-pleasure anthem, all blagged together using a sledgehammer drop technique. Haha!

With roots in both intimate club nights [Downtex, Sugar House, Toast, Revolution…] and more remote festival stages, 50Hertz brings an undeniable energy that electrifies any crowd. Whether it’s an all-night warehouse party or a sun-drenched festival set, he will create unforgettable moments on the dancefloor.

Unapologetically strange, not always perfect – but always up for musical oddities, 50Hertz will shake things up and leave you grinning, sweating, and hoping for just one more tune.

Make It Happen

“For f*ck’s sake, do something, do anything… Just do something!“.
50Hertz doesn’t sit on his hands, and an ADHD-attitude means he’d rather play a set to a paddock of sheep than not play at all. Ready to go when you are…

For bookings, festival slots, or club nights, 50Hertz will be ready to bring the dance to you. Get on it, car bonnet.
